May 6, 2014 Board Meeting Agenda Item #29 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #14-0008 FOR PAINTING SERVICES - DISTRICTWIDE Description Bids to provide 'Painting Services - Districtwide' were received from five vendors on April 8, 2014.  The bids of Boro Building and Property Maintenance, Mailloux and Sons, Inc., and Service Painting of Florida were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  Funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Boro Building and Property Maintenance, Mailloux and Sons, Inc., and Service Painting of Florida, to provide 'Painting Services - Districtwide' in an amount not to exceed $900,000.00, be approved as presented.
